Acquisition Program Manager

Bestica is seeking an Acquisition Program Manager to provide future services at Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234 – ONSITE.

 

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:

The employee shall meet all requirements per the basic contract and provide professionally and technically qualified individual(s) to perform all tasks in the following paragraphs to fulfill the requirements of this contract. This is not an Information Technology (IT) program to be managed. The employee shall provide professional program management support and assistance necessary to aid in the mission accomplishment of the Human Effectiveness Directorate, Bioeffects Division 711 HPW/RHD. The Bioeffects Division enable maximum safe exploitation of electromagnetic spectrum for national defense.

Work Schedule: Work schedule is normally M-F 0730-1630; however, there may be times when it is necessary for the to work after duty hours in support of specific tasks. Although schedule may have to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week.

 

Location: Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234 – ONSITE.

 

Mandatory Qualifications

  • The employee shall possess at least a bachelor’s degree.
  • The employee shall have at minimum an Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level I certification in Program Management or a Program Management Professional (PgMP) certificate.
  • The employee shall have at least three (3) years demonstrated experience working as a Program Manager in a military environment.
  • The employee shall have recent and relevant experience within the past 5 years in Program Management, to include acquisition and program management principles, and knowledge to guide program and project accomplishment through the various phases of acquisition lifecycle.
  • The employee shall have experience reviewing cost, schedule, and activity reports on projects, as well as performing cost, schedule and performance analysis.
  • The employee shall have strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication abilities, to include speaking English fluently.
  • The employee shall possess experience completing tasks independently or with minimal guidance from others.
  • The employee shall be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • The employee shall begin the investigation process immediately upon award.
  • The employee shall have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with the company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. The NDA shall be provided to the Government Program Manager by start of performance.

 

Highly Desired Qualification

  • Currently possessing a Secret Clearance.
  • Experience using CCaR.
