Bestica is seeking a History Archivist to provide service in support of Fort Leavenworth Research Library in Leavenworth, KS.

MUST HAVE SECRET CLEARANCE

SCOPE:  Shall be responsible for integration of material into the archive, transporting materials to and from a place for their processing, appraisal of the material for inclusion in the archive, disposal of records not selected for inclusion, preparing the material for inclusion in the archive according to the established format, preservation and maintenance of the records and preparation of an archival catalogue and other materials to assist researchers in surveying the collection for its contents, continued integration of the materials into a unified format. The Contractor shall also be responsible for providing expertise at key record management and liaison meetings and orientations of the archive and retrieving specific documents from the Combined Arms Fort Leavenworth Archive.

Full time - 0730-1600 Monday - Friday

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST HAVE SECRET CLEARANCE

• The employee shall have knowledge of generally accepted professional archival techniques and principles.
• The employee shall have working knowledge and experience in current Microsoft Office products and SharePoint.
• The employee must be physically able to lift and relocate 30 pound boxes.
